In collaboration with the Board, I developed and launched a fully responsive website on my server that showcases updates and events for The Connecticut Maritime Association. The website features a Google Calendar for events that seamlessly syncs with the Board's email system. Additionally, I revamped the logo graphic to align with the site's new color scheme, ensured SSL security, and provided hosting on my server. I also handle monthly updates and maintenance to ensure everything on the site runs smoothly.
I worked closely with the Board to revitalize the CY2 Educational Foundation. Our main aim was to create a captivating experience for the audience around STEM initiatives that would drive more donations and promote the Foundation's programs, encouraging more support. With my full-stack skills, I created a website that aligned perfectly with the Foundation's style, making it easy for users to donate through Stripe, PayPal, and custom forms. I added SSL encryption and advanced security measures to ensure information safety.
I created new website versions, added fresh content, and updated images while customizing certain sections based on the owners' preferences. This resulted in all company divisions being unified under one client website, which is now updated with new content every month. I also managed ongoing maintenance and added SQL and PHP functionalities and personnel email addresses. The website is hosted on secure GoDaddy servers and features custom coding and drag-and-drop forms integrated with mailing lists for efficient communication.
The site utilized an outdated 8-year-old theme that would break upon any attempted updates. I coded the new theme, migrated their domain to my server, updated all settings, and successfully launched the revamped site in less than two days. Collaborating closely with their team, I revamped the company's website with a fresh version of their old theme, incorporating custom coding. Pardot, Google Analytics, and other requested features were seamlessly integrated. DNS entries were added for the intranet, VPN, and Microsoft 365 emails. Additionally, I transferred their domain from an overpriced server to mine, ensuring enhanced performance and cost efficiency.
I successfully led the development of two website versions within a year. First, I upgraded the outdated HTML site by migrating it to my server and enhancing its coding. Later, I worked with the marketing manager on a new website to showcase their custom-made parts. This project featured a client-selected theme that required tailored coding to meet their needs. I customized WooCommerce, refining it to the client's preferences. Two plugins were recoded and optimized for seamless compatibility project, improving their content marketing. This project also integrated their Microsoft 365 services into the migrated domain, keeping them online.
Since 2016, I've spearheaded creating and hosting Rantos Maintenance and Landscape's modern web presence. As we gear up for spring 2024, we're poised to launch an upgraded website to elevate their online presence significantly. After encountering a hosting issue, I developed a new website within a tight 3-day timeframe, guaranteeing minimal disruption to their operations and email contacts. This project seamlessly integrated essential tools such as Google Analytics, Google Workspace, Google Webmaster, and a robust security suite, solidifying their online infrastructure for long-term success.
